Symposium on logistics support of auto parts international supply chain held in Beijing
On May 15, 2020, China Federation of things automotive logistics branch held the "Symposium on logistics support of international supply chain of auto parts" in Beijing. The conference took the form of online video, and invited Beijing Jiaotong University, China Railway special cargo automobile logistics Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng Nissan, FAW Volkswagen, SAIC GM, SAIC GM Wuling, Chang'an Ford, Chang'an Mazda, GAC Ben Tian, Fujian Benz and other joint-venture brand main engine manufacturers discussed the issues such as the stock of imported auto parts and international supply.
Ma zenrong, executive vice president of China Federation of auto logistics branch, presided over the meeting. He first introduced the current situation of the industry and the impact of the epidemic on the industry, and then read out the relevant contents about improving the stability and competitiveness of the industrial chain supply chain in the recent meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee. He hoped that in the future, the main engine factory would be able to integrate with the logistics enterprises to jointly implement the national requirements for the automobile industry.
At the meeting, the representatives of each meeting introduced their own company's resumption of production, parts inventory, international supply chain and so on. At present, the short-term supply of domestic auto parts is basically stable, and the logistics cost affected by the epidemic has increased.
Zhang Xiaodong, vice president of the branch and professor of Beijing Jiaotong University, shared the changes of enterprise supply chain management under the epidemic, the short-term and long-term impact of global supply chain, new opportunities in the supply chain and future trends and responses.
